Autonomous driving on the road to success.
The vehicles of the future drive autonomously - both on a private tour to the supermarket and in public transport. In the development of sustainable mobility solutions for the future, individual transport and public transport must therefore be reconciled. Experts from science, technology and politics in Karlsruhe have been convinced of this guiding principle for a long time. And they were also able to convince important project sponsors of this.
In 2018, the "Test Field Autonomous Driving Baden-Württemberg" was opened in Karlsruhe. The Karlsruher Verkehrsverbund has assumed a central role as test field operator. KVV is supported by the test field consortium, a strong network of regional partners.
